Here's an E-boy, though not the funny kind as usual, just marking something he said.

This morning for some reason he went and stood all the way in my closet -- not just looking in nosey-like in his usual fashion. Now, he's been in the closet before, but for some reason this time he stood there looking and experiencing for a long moment before he said, "it smells like Grandma's house in here." A pause. "Yes, this place smells like Grandma's house."

Now I really want to know what about my closet makes it smell like my mother's house. But really, how amazing to watch him experience that moment, because those smell-memory triggers are so strong for us all as individuals. I have not been in my paternal grandmother's house in decades, but I still sometimes get that smell trigger which pulls me right back to her house.

This guy in the video on this link was the best thing about So You Think You Can Dance last night, as was Nygel's cute response to him; note, Nygel is an awesome judge. This dancer is a popper, a dance style with a much better name than crunking (I'm still not sure I have a clue what crunking is and why it is its own separate style but, whatever). The body control and the humor this guy possesses is just so amazing.
